I was kindly invited to the Tag Heuer party this year during the Grand Prix thanks to Max at BIC.MC whose website actually went live this weekend go check it out!  Tag Heuer are one of the world leaders in prestigious and high end Swiss chronographs so I wasn’t sure what to expect but turned up in my new little red dress and stilettos, walking up to the aft of this massive yacht I naturally got very excited as I had never been on Mega Yacht Delma before and there were rumors of certain royals and celebrities that may be present.

A thundering of flash light photography bellowed on the upper decks above us which confirmed a celebrity presence to my delight. We were greeted and ushered on board, left our coats and to my utter dissapointment no stiletto drop off as my feet were already hurting a little but of course wanted to look my best… so on they stayed! There was also an ice cold wind passing through Monaco that evening and my loose silk dress did nothing to fend off the chills, men really have no idea what us women need to go through sometimes to try to please, its ridiculous really.

Winding up the marble staircases with Jenson Button, Cameron Diaz and Leonardo Di Caprio’s faces displayed across the walls wearing large Tag watches, I was secretly hoping Cameron and Leo would both be here, I would have to wait and see…

We were welcomed with orange glasses filled to the brim with Veuve Cliquot and made our way past Jenson Button and his stunning model girlfriend Jessica Michibata.

I am sure you can tell how happy I am to be here as I seem to have caught the giggles…

A delicious food spread awaited us outside including a chocolate fondue that flew everywhere once switched on because of the wind, I am SO thankful I wasn’t standing next to it!

We were later summoned to the top deck above for speeches where Cameron Diaz was welcomed to the stage (woo!), followed by Leonardo Di Caprio, Monaco’s Sovereign HSH Prince Albert II and a host of Formula 1 luminaires Romain Grosjean, Sergio Perez and Jenson Button… Also in attendence were F1 legend Alen Prost and World Rally Championship leader Sebastian Ogier and top model David Gandy.

Cameron Diaz was so beautiful in person and really glowed as she gave her speech, she seems like a truly lovely woman I feel so lucky to have met her.

Max and I strolled forward to the bow of the Tag boat for a moments peace, to take in the evening sights and lights and posed by the steaming Jacuzzi imagining what life must be like to live on-board one of these babies…

 Interesting fact that I found out while researching the brand is that Tag has sponsored more first-place Monaco F1 drivers than any brand in history!

One of the parties I was most looking forward to this Grand Prix Season was the launch of Monaco’s only seafront beach party, Sunset. Situated on the Meridien Hotel’s own sandy beach and overlooking the sparkling yachts bobbing along the horizon…

We headed down to Sunset after watching a couple of the races in the morning, the only way to get around during the Grand Prix without any hassle is to walk and thankfully the weather agreed with us as we strolled through the gates and along the track stopping for a cold one at Pacific whilst peering out through the wire at the roaring machines at they passed by.

We were greeted by friendly faces at the entrance which was surrounded by gleaming sports cars sponsoring the event, we skipped down the stairs as local Dj’s spinned their favourite house tracks… Seated just a metre from the sea’s edge we sunk into white sofas positioned in the sand and sipped at our chilled Rose with friends as the sun shined above us.

We laughed about this for a while because we couldn’t figure out why these girls looked like nurses, before realising they must be keeping their hair in place before modelling for the Amber Lounge event next door!

Sunset was clearly THE place to be this GP as the mood quickly escalated into a full blown beach party with masses of young people piling in all afternoon and eventually welcoming this years Formula 1 Monte Carlo Grand Prix winner Nico Rosberg celebrating his accomplishment among friends and family as the sun set beneath the waves…

I sincerely hope Sunset will reappear next Monaco Grand Prix weekend after its grand opening success. I would also like to include a special thank you to Tom Peters for his kindness & hospitality, I look forward to being a part of the next chapter!

I apologise for the silence over the last week, since the Monaco Grand Prix I haven’t stopped and with a quick trip to Istanbul and back I can finally update you on everything I have been up to recently!

During my visits to the Cannes Film Festival this year I was kindly invited to GBK Productions own Hollywood Boudoir gifting and style suite at a beautiful Villa situated in the heart of Cannes. With the Fashion TV event (see here) later that evening a day of pampering and goodies sounded wonderful! I had the perfect dress ready for the evening thanks to Gorgeous Couture, all I needed was a little hair and makeup to help me on my way.

Hollywood Boudoir founded by Darren Darnborough and Rolf Dahmer is an invitation-only luxury lounge which takes place at Villa Madrid during the Cannes Film Festival and comprises of a Gifting Suite, Styling Suite, Beauty Salon and Luxury Spa. There were a variety of celebs present including the likes of David Hasselhoff, Chloe Sims, Hofit Golan, Bai Ling…etc

The Villa was breathtaking, with swimming pool hidden behind trees and flowers, the sun shined and drinks and snacks were served.

I was greeted by an array of luxury brands and was quickly shown and introduced to everyone while learning the details of each and every product displayed in front of me. I was overwhelmed with lots and lots of goodies and I felt utterly spoiled… I will blog about each and every one individually as they are all so precious and it would be a shame for them to get lost within a simple list of products. I met some lovely people whom made the whole experience so much more memorable throughout the day and really have to thank everyone for their warm welcome.

I was wearing my new pattern silk shorts from Zara which are my favourite shorts of the moment for this Summer and so floaty and comfortable to wear, and a sneak peak of some gorgeous bracelets by Shady Lady!

I have had the most interesting and exhilarating week, as you know from my last post I had lots of exciting things planned in Cannes during the Film Festival and I honestly couldn’t wait to tell you all about it!

I was delighted when Gorgeous Couture sent me this beautifully designed package in the post, inside was a long and white Swarovski embellished dress perfect for any Red Carpet affair and just in time for the Cannes Film Festival Season! I took Max who you will remember from my recent Rolex Masters article (Here) to Cannes with me for a fun filled day of Gifting, Style Suites and Beauty Salon at the Hollywood Boudoir Villa which I will update you on momentarily. Followed by a chauffeur driven ride over to the Hotel Majestic Barriere on the Croisette for the Fashion TV Red Carpet Lounge and their 16th Year Anniversary party that I was invited to.

My jewellery and makeup was kept minimal with a simple diamante snake ring, smokey eye, Cheryl Cole lashes and nude lip. I paired my beautiful new dress with my favourite Logan Jimmy Choo glitter pumps and my hair and makeup was done by the talented girls from LEXCLUSIF at the Hollywood Boudoir prior.

We arrived to the hotel immediately greeted by paparazzi and girls dressed in gold lame ensembles holding Liquid Gold bottles. After being ushered up onto the main terrace overlooking the Red Carpet at the Palais des Festivals, we were offered glasses of champagne while we caught up and met some new and famous faces.

I caught up with my dear friend and talented actor Vincent De Paul who you may remember from my recent trip to New York where we walked the AZ Araujo runway together during Fashion Week (here) and met the charming Lucien Laviscount (British actor & singer).

There was live music followed by lots of very funny interviews with Fashion TV, I will add the interview once they upload it to their YouTube channel. I really can’t wait to watch it because it was such a laugh and I was so excited to interview again with Fashion TV. (You can find my 1st video interview here)

Its that time of year again, the Cannes Film Festival starts today, one of the most exciting events to take place during the year in one of the most prestigious areas on the Cote d’Azur. I had the pleasure of experiencing a hotel right on the Croisette this week called Hotel 3.14, a luxury hotspot which has centered all its entertainment during this period for the young and connected.

I was greeted on the rooftop of the hotel by friendly faces and the stunning views of an overflow swimming pool and the Cannes seaside glistening in the background. I sat to enjoy a cold drink while admiring 3.14 latest addition to their restaurant, circular glass tables with plancha embedded in the centre so that you can cook your own lunch with friends or have the lovely chef come over and cook it right in front of you. I headed over to the Chef’s table to watch him prepare some delicious skewers, fresh vegetables and jacket potato.

I wondered around the pool planning my next trip down to Cannes, this time with my bikini! and discovered a jacuzzi overlooking the Croisette and the horizon… I chatted to another Sophie there from Instinct De Com and found out about 3.14′s Film Festival program and the weekly pool parties held on the rooftop every Sunday with multiple DJ sets and decided I couldn’t keep this all to myself!

I will be heading back there very soon to properly experience 3.14′s life by the seaside and their infamous pool parties I have now heard so much about.  You should all come too! I may just secretly sneak down to Cannes and hide away there for a few days! shh….

They also have a lovely beach in front of the hotel perfect to go to in the morning for a swim and then spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on the rooftop poolside.

I am heading back to Cannes Friday night for a film launch party and Monday too for a red carpet event, I have all of my outfits already planned so watch out for those coming soon to the blog, I really cannot wait there is something so special about Cannes this time of year!

I visited Top Marques this week, the most exclusive live supercar show in the world. Exhibiting some of the most prestigious and highly tuned automobiles on the market its always a delight to wonder around peering into windows and sitting in the driving seat of these luxurious beauties, not at all a bad way to spend the day to be honest.

A 007 Skyfall themed helicopter sat on standby positioned at the entrance and a beached motor yacht with its ax bow design both welcoming us into the show.

We anxiously hurried inside to find out which glorious machines awaited us downstairs…

And on the way back we passed through Monaco’s very own Japanese Gardens with koi fish pond, waterfalls and zen atmosphere…

Out!I had such a lovely day out at the Rolex Masters at the kind invitation of my friend Max, founder of BIC.MC, the local problem solving company that is very active and well connected within Monaco. The marketing consulting firm is designed to bring new brands and companies to Monaco but also helps local companies to expand into Germany (Max is the brand ambassador for the Monaco International Clubbing Show MICS). Additionally BIC.MC can also sort you out with tickets and invitations for most of the sold out events in Monaco you are looking to attend last minute.

The sun was shining, the perfect day to watch some competitive tennis and take in the sights. R. Paire and R. Gasquet played a great match with a good win by Paire who actually used to train here locally as a young boy.

After the match we casually walked around the country club shopping village browsing the Rolex watches, oversized tennis balls and mixed with other tennis players and their over excited fans. Since the weather was so perfect we headed up to the Vista Palace hotel in Max’s new electric Twizy to take some photos of the views over Monaco and the Masters…

Happy Monday everyone!

I have been a bit quiet these last few days as I decided to take some time for myself after a very busy last few weeks. I have some very big decisions to make at the moment and since it was my Birthday I took the opportunity to spend time with Diego and my friends to let off some steam and evaluate. I cannot go into more detail as these are private matters that cannot be communicated via the blog I hope you understand , however you may see some changes over the next few months.

Back to the fun stuff! Diego took me out for some Birthday drinks and surprised me with all my friends at the new place to be in town Le Bar Du Quai. It is a lovely little outside bar part of the famous Quai des Artistes located in the main port right on the Grand Prix circuit. Quai des Artistes is a restaurant best known for its delicious oysters and sea food menu. The decor is very cosy with a certain Parisian feel to it and offers oyster trays, planche japonais, charcuterie, beverages and more, the perfect ambient corner for aperitifs before or after dinner.
