// quay sunnies – gift from Issa
Correct me if I’m in the wrong here but I think my boyfriend is the biggest fan of my blog. (And whose boyfriend isn’t a fan of their loved one’s blog?) He reads my posts, cheers me on when I get too lazy to shoot/ write anything and the best part – he actually gives such valuable feedback every time. I should probably mention he’s not one of those “You’re my girl so I’m basically programmed to love everything you do” people so I know I can count on him to always tell me the truth and point out the lame stuff. Recently he noticed how my blog was getting more and more pale and monochrome with each post and that, honestly, it’s becoming kinda dull. Coincidentally, just the previous day I was thinking the same thing and planning on switching things up a bit. It’s May already and I’m in full summer swing these days! Neon is no news and has been around for two years now. But what’s a 90s kid, japanese street style lover and hardcore junkie to do? Give in to the trend, of course. I’ve had this light sweater for over a year now, but it’s such a shame I’ve worn it just a couple of times. Well – that’s about to change. I don’t think I’m actually going to wear it with those sunnies, because no one wants to resemble a traffic light, right? Too much of a good thing is certainly bad. Speaking of those, they were a lovely gift from dear
Issa, came all the way from Singapore! I admit they look kind of ridiculous on me since they’re HUGE but I can’t help it, I’ve always been a fan of everything oversized. I wanted to incorporate my
DIY neon shoes into this ensemble too, but I realized that would probably leave you blind so I changed my mind.
What are your favorite trends for the season ahead? I’m so planning on abusing white & neon, so get ready for seeing a lot of those!
PS. Just a quick thank you for all the positive comments I received on the previous post. It’s nice to know I’m not alone and that you took the time to write such beautiful, encouraging words. It’s much appreciated ♥
